The European Union estimates that there are at least 15 million people of African descent living within its borders.

The AFRO-EUROPEAN EXCELLENCE (AEX) festival  represents the quest to showcase the unity and the many singular voices we carry in art, music and urban culture. We want to celebrate our achievements and successes every step of the way.

„For our first AEX Festival, scheduled from Friday September 30th through Saturday October 1st, we want to celebrate the summer end by bringing to the German capital acclaimed performers like NAZA (FR) AFRO B (UK) or LADY LESHURR (UK) along with very talented up and coming artists such as K.ZIA (BEL), ALBI X (DE) or DANITSA (CH)!

AEX will give the opportunity to the public to enjoy two full nights and one day of thrilling and enticing DJ Sets, Live Performances along with  Dance Shows, Panel Talks and an art Exhibition!

The venue which will be hosting the Festival, Festsaal Kreuzberg has a capacity of more than 1500 people, 1000 sq, 3 different floors and an outside area. The Garden, is the perfect space for this Black Joy Celebration!
